Older homes and the Monroe County bluff area
Homes around the bluff area and older homes elsewhere in Monroe County can have porch roofs, additions and roof junctions that need individual attention. We inspect the visible materials, flashing and drainage before recommending repairs or replacement.

Fewer reports does not mean fewer storms. The county has had hail of 1 inch or larger in each of the last four years, and the towns most affected are Columbia, Waterloo and Valmeyer, with Hecker and the Red Bud border area close behind.

A failed vent boot or flashing detail may need a focused roof repair. Widespread material deterioration or repeated failures can justify replacement. The inspection compares both options with the roof’s condition.
