Signs your Collinsville roof needs attention
You don't need to climb a ladder to spot most warning signs. A few simple checks:
- In the attic: daylight through the boards, damp insulation or dark stains on the wood
- On ceilings and upper walls: new brown rings or bubbling paint
- In the gutters: piles of shingle granules, which look like coarse sand
- From the ground: shingles that curl, are missing or sit unevenly

Collinsville tends to get the wind side of these storms. Wind damage looks different from hail: creased or lifted shingles, missing tabs along ridges and edges, and exposed nail heads, usually on the south- and west-facing slopes.
What happens at an inspection
- We ask what you've noticed and where.

- You get a written estimate, and the decision is yours.
Small fix or full roof?
A single leak point is often a roof repair. A roof that's worn out across the board is usually a roof replacement. We'll tell you which we think fits and why.
Siding at the same time
If your siding is faded, cracked or letting water in, it can make sense to look at it alongside the roof. See our siding installation and replacement page.
